Artist's Statement
The imagery I create combines the glowing expanse of a cityscape and the grandeur of architectural subjects with the vibrant colors of twilight. I strive to capture the rich, saturated indigo hues and cobalt blues of the early-evening sky. The neon vibrance of an urban marketplace, a sprawling metropolis, and the majestic glass facades of majestic skyscrapers reflecting the beauty of nautical twilight are the focus of my work.
I have specialized in timed exposures and experimental photography since I purchased up my first 35mm camera. I pay close attention to composition, perspective and balance. I enjoy shooting the spectacle of fireworks and lightening, the brash brilliance of an amusement pier after sunset, and the expanse of a city as twilight fades on the horizon.
